Today i touch on a very sticky topic that I've come all to close to realize and see for myself... and that is.. .. maintaining focus on what is really important.
So.. lets go on a journey..
We're walking along this beautiful path with stones of diamonds and precious stones, the air is alive with life and the earth is alive with energy.. all around us seems so true, so joyful, so happy, so honest, so trustworthy. But in the distance we look and see a storm coming, but not just a storm, but rather a sand storm... it covers us, clouds our judgement, what was once a paradise has now become a dungeon of despair and hate and anger and broken trust and envy. But in the distance remains this sound. It sounds like a bell. Faintly does one hear it, with all the loud noises of thunder and crashing and the loud screams of death. But.... there is this bell. Then suddenly a piece of paper blows onto your face and it reads "listen only to the bell."
Ponder for a minute with me.. how does one only listen to the faint sounding of the bell when much louder most distinct sounds are beckoning to be heard... hmmm but regardless we do decide to obey and be wise... we mentally block out all the other strange noises that seem to want to lead us in many different directions.. but we focus on the faint sound of the bell...
Ring.. ring... ring... it goes... ring... ring.. .. one step.. two steps.. three steps.. we walk in the direction of the bell... the wind which seemed to have had power over us.. now becomes weak.. the sounds around us which seemed to have had the louder sound becomes fainter.. we focus.. we focus... ring... ring.. Ring.. Ring.. RING... RINGG... RINGGGGG....
Suddenly as the ring of the bell is loud enough... the storm stops.. the footpath reappears.. the beauty of the island resurfaces and once again the vision is clear....
WE MUST REMAIN FOCUS ON WHAT'S IMPORTANT IF WE ARE TO REACH THE SUCCESS WE HOLD DEAR
DREAMS CAN ONLY BE ACCOMPLISHED IF FOCUS ON THE RIGHT PRIORITIES EXIST
